The Holy Pig
Designed as a small booklet, "30 Meters Near Sea Level" is a completely fictional archaeological report. The text is written just like a real excavation log, describing the discovery of ruins near the sea that reveal a strange history of "humans eating a pig." The artwork in the project consists of paintings made to look like ancient murals, which were created by combining physical materials with digital art. These fake murals tell a made-up story about a group of people who find a little pig that fell from the sky. They raise the animal by feeding it their own greed, before finally carving it up and sharing it together.

Throughout this painting project, I experimented with a diverse range of techniques. I initially started by combining watercolor and acrylic on paper.

Material: Watercolor,Acrylic
Size: 42cm* 28cm

Following this, to emulate the aesthetic of murals, I incorporated digital processing to replicate mural styles. Ultimately, two of the artworks were scanned in high resolution and scaled up via inkjet printing.

This process led to marvelous results. The high-res scanning magnified the random watercolor and acrylic strokes with crisp clarity, creating effects nearly impossible to reach with traditional mural techniques
